The Clan MacLeod Pipe Band was invited by the Australian National Maritime Museum to perform and entertain visitors to the Classic & Wooden Boat Festival on Sunday 9 March 2008. Fittingly and most appropriately, the Band performed its opening numbers adjacent to the barque "JamesCraig" which vessel originally bore the neme "Clan MacLeod" when built in Sunderland, England in 1874
